IP NETWORK CONSULTING EXPANDS GLOBAL EXPERTISE – ADDS IT / TELECOMMUNICATIONS VETERAN KEN KRUPP

Joins IP & Telecommunications Technology Specialist as Principal Consultant

NEW YORK, NY – February 15, 2012 – New York-based IP Network Consulting (IPNC), an innovative IP and telecommunications technologies business consultancy headquartered in New York City, announced today that, effective immediately, Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Krupp has joined its global team as Principal Consultant. In his new capacity, he will work with clients in all areas of IT and Telecommunications and will establish IPNC’s presence in the western region of the United States, from the firm’s Seattle, Washington location.

Mr. Krupp’s addition is part of IPNC’s current plan to expand IPNC’s global presence and services capabilities. In his role as Principal Consultant, he brings invaluable insights supported by the extensive knowledge and expertise, garnered from 25-plus years of working with IT and telecommunications clients, operating in the three strategic business theaters.

“During the past year, Ken has proven himself to be an invaluable business resource, mentor, and friend. While operating behind the scenes, he has been a very proactive force, in assisting IPNC’s expansion into a global consultancy,” said Mr. Dennis Goodhart, IPNC Founder and Principal. “Ken also was very active in implementing an international TEM system, by finding and recruiting our international business partners and building those relationships.”

His present assignments include aiding clients with network inventories, bill audits, contract negotiations, and vendor management. Mr. Krupp’s IP/PBX and voice application design, installation, and maintenance expertise enables him to offer his comprehensive perspective, in all of his assessment projects.

At the start of his career, Mr. Krupp designed and launched one of the earliest comprehensive customer contact centers. This pioneering effort, for an international airline, included selection and implementation of PBX and call routing technology, defining and sourcing an array of specialized network services, and hiring and training the technical, customer service, and supervisory personnel.

“I am very pleased to be joining IPNC,” said Krupp. I believe that in this era of global community and global economics, we, as IT/telecom consultants, must have a global vision. As an independent consulting company, IPNC embraces this philosophy. This commitment, to a global presence, will allow us to provide a full range of services to our clients wherever they do business. I look forward to making my contribution in helping IPNC to attain excellence on behalf of our clients.”

Mr. Krupp’s career includes his attaining technical certifications, such as the full ITIL certification program and the Cadence Project Management certification, along with completing the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) “Train-the-Trainer” coursework. In support is his hands-on experience with systems from Siemens, NEC, Lucent, and Avaya, as well as stand-alone IVR, ACD call center, auto attendant, voice mail, and SIPxchange. In addition, he has done extensive work with exchange carriers, service providers, vendors, and corporations in twenty-eight countries on six continents.

His current industry roles include serving on the STC – Society of Telecommunications Consultants’ board of directors and chairing its International Affairs Committee. He has been a regular presenter at STC, the CCMI Mobile Explosion, and the CCMI Total Telecom Audit conferences. A regular contributor to The Voice Report, Mr. Krupp’s articles also appear in a variety of industry publications.

IP Network Consulting (IPNC) specializes in providing unique insights and independent analyses to the challenges businesses encounter, in finding, securing, implementing, and managing a broad range of IP and telecommunications technology. The company’s sound economic advice and technical solutions aid clients in reducing costs and optimizing business processes.

Dennis Goodhart founder and principal of IP Network Consulting has rejoined two leading worldwide industry organizations whose purpose is to promote high technical standards, integrity and fairness.

Dennis first joined both of these organizations after receiving his FCC 1st. Class Radio Telephony License. The license was kept current until the Federal Communications Commission stopped renewing First and Second Class licenses shortly after 1982. They were reissued as General Radio Operators Licenses. Like all previous commercial licenses, they were issued with renewable five year terms, but in 1985 certificates were granted or renewed as lifetime documents.

The IEEE is the world’s largest professional association with more than 400,000 IEEE members in over 160 countries around the world. IEEE members are engineers, scientists and allied professionals whose technical interests are rooted in electrical and computer sciences, engineering and related disciplines. The IEEE is dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE’s highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.

NARTE became iNARTE; International Association for Radio, Telecommunications and Electromagnetics in 2007. iNARTE is a worldwide, non-profit, professional credentialing association which certifies qualified engineers and technicians in the fields of Telecommunications, Electromagnetic Compatibility/Interference (EMC/EMI), Product Safety (PS), Electrostatic Discharge control (ESD) and Wireless Systems Installation.

5th Conference on Principles, Systems and Applications of IP Telecommunications
(IPTComm 2011)
http://www.iptcomm.org

August 1-2, 2011
Illinois Institute of Technology
Chicago, USA

IP communications are evolving rapidly. Telephone and Network service providers are turning to IP-based solutions for the delivery of voice, image and video communications. Mobile operators are deploying all-IP networks replacing the circuit switched technology with packet switching based solutions.

With the transition towards IP there is also a shift in the way services are provided. Service-oriented and resource-oriented architectures have emerged and new methods have been developed to compose complex services by specifying high level information and processing flows between simple, basic components. IP communication services are moving onto cloud computing infrastructures creating new challenges for high-quality service delivery. In addition to traditional telephone services, new communications services and applications that are native to- and optimized for IP networks are being created. As a result, a large variety of communication services are being delivered on top of the IP infrastructure, while the amount of traffic being carried over it is reaching numbers unimaginable just a few years ago.

The evolution of IP communications is being carried forward by organizations and individuals representing a diverse set of fields and backgrounds – telecommunications, web development, electrical and computer engineering, information technology and data networking. The aim of the IPTComm conference is to serve as a platform for researchers from academia, research labs, industry and government to share their ideas, views, results and experiences in the field of IP-based telecommunication. IPTComm will include presentations of theoretical and experimental achievements, innovative systems, prototyping efforts, case studies, and advancements in technology.

The list of topics for IPTComm includes but is not limited to:
